A warm welcome to Cwmcynwyn cottage and working farm, in the Brecon Beacons, where we offer luxury, self catering converted barn accommodation.  The Barn is located 6 miles from Brecon town and sleeps upto 14 people in 4 bedrooms.

Superbly located - being the highest habitation on the peaks of the Beacons, Cwmcynwyn can offer peace and tranquility while providing a base for exploring and outdoor adventure. Ideal for a holiday, family/friends reunion or a hiking weekend.

Our Farm entrance leads directly onto the old Roman road (now bridleway) which heads into the heart of the Beacons (Pen y Fan being the highest peak at 886m).  We are ideally situated for walking, hiking and mountain biking.  There are an abundance of other outdoor activities in the local area too , including tennis, fishing, sailing, golfing, climbing and pony trekking/riding.  We have our own river walk – only 2 minutes from the Barn.
